A newly built home can still have incomplete work, defects or finishing issues. A snagging inspection records matters within the agreed inspection scope so you can raise them clearly with the developer.
Agree the timing and access
Tell us whether the property is completed, whether you have legal possession, and whether the developer permits an independent inspection before completion. Access arrangements and the stage of construction need to be confirmed before an appointment is made.
A separate service from a home buyer survey
Snagging should not be treated as a short description inside a Level 2 service. Its purpose, scope and reporting should be explained separately. We confirm the inspection offered and its limitations before you instruct us.
What to provide
The address, house or flat type, bedroom count, approximate floor area, developer details and preferred timing help us assess the enquiry. Tell us about areas you cannot access and any particular issues already reported.
Request your assessment
Choose new-build snagging in the quotation form. This service is individually reviewed rather than automatically priced by the standard home-survey matrix.
